Purchasing FAQ.
/01 What's actually included for $2,000? +
A perpetual license for one named user, the full v1 engine (low and medium voltage), and one year of updates and email support. No metering, no per-calculation fees, no watermarks.
/02 What happens after year one? +
Your license keeps working. If you want to keep receiving updates and support, renew at $400/user/year. If you don't, the version you have continues to run — no nag screens, no shutdown.
/03 Can I get a refund? +
Yes. Full refund within 30 days of purchase, no questions. The free in-browser demo exists so you can avoid needing one in the first place.
/04 Why founder's pricing? +
Honest answer: we want early users on stamped projects so we can earn referenceable customers and improve faster. The $1,500 number reflects that trade. We close the window when we ship the next wave of features.
/05 What payment methods? +
Card via Stripe for individual purchases. ACH and wire are available on multi-seat orders — email us. We can also issue annual purchase orders for firms that need them.
/06 Is the license transferable? +
Within an organization, yes — if a licensed engineer leaves, we can reassign the seat to their replacement at no charge. There is currently no self-service portal for this, please contact us. Selling the license to a third party is not permitted.
/07 Tax / VAT? +
Stripe handles tax calculation by jurisdiction. U.S. sales tax is applied where required. We are currently focused on NEC and US customers, details on international taxation will be provided as we expand our services.
